Stress to Resilience Skills Course
Developed especially for frontline workers exposed to trauma during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is inevitable that being exposed to trauma in our work will have an impact on us. Yet, there are things that we can do to help protect ourselves, attenuate the negative impact, and to promote fulfillment and compassion satisfaction at work.
This course, created by a therapist, is intended for therapists, healthcare workers, and other allied professionals who are exposed to trauma at work. Though language in the videos is kept general, the videos were created with an aim to support frontline healthcare workers during COVID-19, recognizing the increased trauma exposure for them at work.
Each of the five 10-minute lessons teaches a practical, evidence-supported skill to help protect oneself from Secondary Traumatic Stress when exposed to vicarious trauma. It can be used as a video or audio course.
