From Stress to Resilience: Resources and Inspiration for COVID 19 Healthcare Workers

"From Stress to Resilience: Resources and Inspiration for COVID 19 Healthcare Workers" is a 90-minute video by Dr. Sharon Gold-Steinberg, of Therapist Refresh, that details both the mental health risks for frontline healthcare workers and offers hope and strategies to enhance resilience. Sharon provides and demonstrates easily applied tools to: deal with powerful emotions, calm the body, cultivate a positive mindset, seek support, and leave work behind at the end of a shift.

Sharon affirms the purpose and meaningfulness of frontline work and emphasizes the power of mindfulness, compassion, and community support to bolster those who are risking their own well-being to care now for our friends, family, and neighbors.

A 60 minute PowerPoint presentation is followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers. The event was co-sponsored by Strengths of All Parts and MI Frontline Support, a newly formed organization to provide mental health referral and resource information for frontline workers.
