Therapist Refresh is here to resource you: to offer healing, resources, support and inspiration for healers.
Therapist Refresh was born out of our shared mission and vision to help resource psychotherapists and allied healers exposed to stress and trauma in their jobs. We are aware that those in helping professions are at increased risk for secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, exhaustion, and overwhelm.
Yet, we are also aware that helpers and healers are given incredible opportunities to witness human resilience and creative survival. We believe in the power of practice, of community, and of harnessing our innate capacities for vitality and contentment. Caring for yourself throughout your workday is truly possible and can even promote experiences of finding deep meaning and compassion satisfaction.
We hope that you will visit our page often throughout your day to take advantage of our meditations, courses, and written inspiration. Our resources teach evidence-supported practices with the human warmth and compassion necessary for true healing.
We are currently spending our energy developing resources specific to the COVID-19 crisis. Please view those resources here and share widely.
